Delete Your Zahava Media Account

You can permanently delete your Zahava Media account and all associated data at any time. Account deletion is irreversible.

Enter your account email and we'll send a 6-digit verification code. Enter the code to permanently delete your account — no app sign-in required.

Prefer to delete from inside the app?

Open the Zahava Media app on iOS, Android, or web and sign in.
Go to the Account screen (Settings menu).
Tap Delete account, then confirm with Delete Everything.

Or email us

If you can't use the form or the app, email support@zahavamedia.com with the subject "Delete my Zahava Media account" and include the email address on your account. We'll verify ownership, delete the account within 7 business days, and reply to confirm.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

Your Firebase Authentication account (email, sign-in credentials).
All child profiles, profile names, and avatars.
All saved channel allowlists and search history.
All watch history and daily usage records for every profile.
All device registrations and pairings.
Your subscription tier record and any locally stored preferences.

What is kept (and for how long)

For legal, accounting, and abuse-prevention reasons, we may retain limited data after account deletion:

Billing records and receipts: kept for up to 7 years as required by tax law. These contain transaction amounts and dates but no profile or watch data.
Anonymous aggregate analytics: usage statistics that have been stripped of personal identifiers may be retained indefinitely. These cannot be linked back to your account.
Server logs: standard request logs (timestamps, IP addresses) are kept for up to 30 days for security and abuse-prevention, then deleted automatically.

Subscriptions

Deleting your Zahava Media account does not automatically cancel an active subscription billed by Apple, Google Play, or another payment processor. To cancel a recurring subscription:

Google Play subscription: open Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Zahava Media → Cancel subscription.
Apple subscription: open iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Zahava Media → Cancel Subscription.

Cancel your subscription before deleting your account if you do not want to be billed for the next period.

This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, the data cannot be recovered. If you want to use Zahava Media again, you'll need to create a new account and set up your profiles, channel allowlists, and settings from scratch.
